Brewed on its own it stands in for coffee and brings no caffeine with it; a spoonful added to ground coffee deepens the roasted, nutty side of the cup. For a lighter infusion, steep a teaspoon in 8 ounces of boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Certified organic and kosher.
