Allergena Pet Dander is made for people who react to animals, not for the animals themselves. It is a 1 fl oz homeopathic liquid from Progena in a vegetable glycerin base with no ethanol. It contains milk as lactose, which matters if you avoid dairy.
Active ingredients: Animal antigen base 6X, 12X, 60X, 100X: cat, dog, horse, cattle, mouse (rat), hamster (gerbil), guinea pig, rabbit, hog, chicken, duck, goose. Drainage remedies 3X: Baptisia tinctoria HPUS, Hydrastis canadensis HPUS, Myrrha HPUS, Phytolacca decandra HPUS, Trigonella foenum-graecum. ACTH 24X, 60X. Adrenal 3X, 4X. Echinacea 3X HPUS. Histamine 12X.
Uses: The label gives the purpose as temporary relief from sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes and sinus congestion.
Directions: Shake well before use. Adults 12 and older, 10 to 15 drops under the tongue three times daily. Children 11 and younger, 6 drops under the tongue three times daily, or as directed by a health care professional. Consult a physician before use in children under 12.
Warnings: Use only as directed. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 5 days. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health professional before use.
