Allergena For Pets Alcohol Free

Allergena for Pets is a homeopathic liquid for cats and dogs, in a 1 fl oz (30 ml) dropper bottle from Progena. The base is vegetable glycerin and USP purified water, so there is no alcohol in it.

Active ingredients: Antigens 6X, 12X, 30X of dust mites (D. pteronyssinus, D. farinae), grasses (Bahia, Bermuda, Bluegrass, Rye, Timothy), trees (white Birch, mountain Cedar, red Oak) and weeds (Mugwort, Pigweed, short Ragweed, Russian Thistle). Herbal drainage remedies: Baptisia tinctoria 3X HPUS, Hydrastis canadensis 3X HPUS, Myrrha 3X HPUS, Nasturtium aquaticum 3X HPUS, Phytolacca decandra 3X HPUS, Trigonella foenum-graecum 3X. Skin remedies: Calendula officinalis 3X, Rhus tox 6X, Staphysagria 6X, Urtica urens 3X. Echinacea 3X HPUS.

Uses: The label gives the purpose as temporary relief from itching, sneezing, coughing and skin irritation.

Directions: Shake well before use. Dose three times daily by the animal's weight: 1 to 20 lbs, 4 to 6 drops; 21 to 60 lbs, 8 to 10 drops; 61 lbs and above, 10 to 15 drops. For severe or long-term allergy sufferers the label advises starting one to two weeks before allergy season at half the dose three times daily, moving to the full dose during the season, then half the dose once daily for two weeks after the season.

Warnings: Use only as directed. Stop use and ask a veterinarian if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 5 days. If nursing, consult a veterinarian before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if the tamper-evident seal around the bottle neck is missing or broken.
